Merhaba!

Öncelikle, Papergirl İstanbul projesine üretim yollayan, sergi açılışına katılan, sanatı paylaşan ve destek veren bütün herkese çok büyük, sonsuz teşekkürlerimizi iletmek istiyoruz! Bu kadar çok sanatçıyı, bu kadar güzel sanat üretimlerini bir arada görmemize, göstermemize olanak verdiğiniz için çok teşekkür ediyoruz ve umuyoruz ki herkesi kendimiz kadar mutlu edebilmişizdir.

Papergirl İstanbul bugün ilk aksiyonunu Caddebostan Sahili’nde gerçekleştirdi! Bugün saat 17.30 sularında orada olan yüzlerce şanslı insana sanatı dağıttık. Çok eğlendik, çok bisiklete bindik, çok güzeldi! Hediye vermek, hele bisikletle dağıtım yapmak gibisi yok. Etkinliklere küçük bir ara vererek 9 Haziran’da Marcus Graf’ın sunumuna kadar azıcık dinleniyoruz.

Bu arada, son sayımda 400’den fazla sanat rulosu ve yaklaşık 2000 sanat üretimi olduğunu ve bugün sadece 250’sinin dağıtıldığını, 11 Haziran’da gerçekleşecek ikinci aksiyon için sabırsızlanmanız gerektiğini belirtmek istedik :)

Hello!

Firstly, we want to thank everyone who submitted, participated and took part on the project and also the exhibition opening, shared and supported! Thank you all for letting us see and show a lot of good artwork together and we hope that we could make everyone as happy as we are.

Papergirl Istanbul has realised its first action on Caddebostan shore! We distributed art to hundreds of lucky people who were there around 17.30. We had a lot of fun, drove our bikes and it was all so beautiful! To give a valuable present, and distributing on bikes is just one of a kind. We will give a short break on our activities and rest a bit until Marcus Graf’s artist talk on June 9th.

By the way, we also want to announce that as we counted, there are more than 400 art rolls and like 2000 artworks and we distributed only 250 of it today. So you really should start looking forward to our second and last action on June 11th :)

Hi all!

We are more than grateful and glad to announce that the deadline for Papergirl İstanbul 2011 is postponed to May 20th! This is the last chance for those who wanted to submit and share but couldn’t find time or opportunity.

For the sake of art and kindness, 10 days more! (yay! )

Projeye katılmak için sanatçılardan sadece sanat üretimlerini göndermelerini istiyoruz. Kar amacı gütmeyen, bağımsız bir proje olduğu için malesef sanat üretimlerinin çıktısını ve gönderimini sanatçıya bırakmak durumundayız. 


Gönderilen işler için;
-     Malzeme kısıtlaması yok ! Sadece RULO haline getirilebilir bir formatta olması yeterli. Malzemeler; kağıt, kumaş, sticker vs..  her şey olabilir.


-     Boyut kısıtlaması yok ! Sadece bisikletlerle kamusal alanda dağıtımı yapılabilecek bir boyut olmalı. ( 5x5 bir sticker da olabilir 50x70 bir kağıt çıktı da.. )


-     En az 2 kopya olmalı ! Gönderilecek sanat üretimleri  sergi ve aksiyonda kullanılacağı için en az 2 kopya halinde göndermenizi istiyoruz.  Ne kadar çok olursa o kadar çok dağıtabiliriz!


-     Kopyalama tekniklerine sanatçılar karar veriyor ! Dijital çıktı, fotokopi, baskı.. her teknik kullanılabilir.


-     Sanat üretimlerinin içeriklerine sanatçılar karar veriyor ! Her sanatçı yarattığı içerik ile kendini temsil edecek. Dilediği içerik ile katılabilir.


-     İletişim bilgilerini de eklemeyi unutmayın ! Gönderilen sanat rulolarına ad / soyad, adres, telefon ve mail adresinizi mutlaka ekleyin!


10 Mayıs’a kadar Milk Gallery’e “sanat ruloları”nı gönderebilirsiniz.

Papergirl İstanbul’a katılarak, projenin duyurusunu yaparak - sanatçılara projeden bahsederek ve fikirlerinizi paylaşarak  
bize yardım edebilirsiniz.

For being a part of the project, we only request from the artists to send their artworks. Unfortunately, we have to let the artists themselves to handle the printing and mailing process, because this is a non-commercial, independent project.


For the submissions;
-     No material borderlines ! Being able to be ROLLED UP is enough. It can be; paper, textile, sticker etc… anything.


-     No size borderlines ! Being able to be distributed by bicycles on public spaces is enough. ( It could be a 5x5 sticker or 50x70 paper print.. ) 


-      Should be at least 2 copies ! Submitted artworks will be part of the exhibition and the action, so we ask you to send 2 copies. More artworks, more distribution!


-     Copy technique is up to artists ! Digital prints, photocopy, prints.. every technique is ok.


-     No borderlines on the content of the artworks ! Every artist will represent him/herself with the content of the submitted artwork. It can be anything they wish.


-     Don’t forget to add your communication details ! Name/surname, address, phone and e-mail address should be attached to your artworks. 


You can send your “art rolls” to Milk Gallery until May 10th.
